AQWP2 Achromatic Quarter Waveplate
Active Range: 410 nm – 640 nm | Compact Visible QWP | Lowest Cost | ±0.02 waves | Doc: BVO.AQWP2.PB.202401
410–640 nm
Lowest Cost QWP
λ/4 Achromatic
99% Transmittance
Off-Shelf $495
AQWP2 is BVO's lowest-cost broadband visible achromatic quarter waveplate, covering 410–640 nm. A single modified polymer film at just 0.07mm thick — same quarter-wave retardance function as the AQWP3 but with a narrower bandwidth and lower price. Ideal for micro display manufacturers needing to miniaturize wearable products and for optical isolation in compact display systems where the full 400–750 nm range of AQWP3 is not required.
AQWP2 vs AQWP3: Same λ/4 achromatic function. AQWP2 covers 410–640 nm at lower cost; AQWP3 covers 400–750 nm with tighter ±0.01 wave tolerance. Choose AQWP2 when cost is the priority and the 410–640 nm range is sufficient. Choose
AQWP3 for full visible coverage or tighter tolerance.
