BVO VIS DS is a high durability visible dyestuff linear polarizer covering 400–675 nm. The dyestuff construction overcomes the LED burn-from-blue-light sources (Burnout from intense LED sources can come from two directions in machine vision systems). VIS DS is tougher than iodine-based polarizers and maintains polarization performance under sustained blue LED energy flux — the primary failure mode for standard visible polarizers in high-intensity illumination. Higher temperature rating than standard iodine polarizers. Robust PSA option available.
