BVO UV is a cost-effective ultraviolet/visible hybrid linear polarizer covering 320 nm to 760 nm. The most affordable UV linear polarizer in the BVO line — suitable for glass-laminated components or offered as digitally cut, acrylic laminated film for OEM systems. High Tp in the visible (76.6% average, 400–700 nm) combined with UV coverage to 320 nm makes it ideal for UV fluorescence polarization, microplate readers, semiconductor inspection, and UV Vis Microscopy instruments.

Performance
BVO UV delivers moderate Tp in the deep UV (24% at 320 nm, 33% at 340 nm) rising steeply through the UV/Vis transition to plateau at 75–83% across the 450–700 nm visible band. Contrast is best in the visible (up to 9,427:1 at 700 nm) with moderate UV contrast (964:1 average, 320–400 nm). Above 700 nm Tc rises sharply — the product is not specified above 760 nm.
